But before you decide to go off for solitary confinement, remember that you're not the only one who's suffering from the problem. Everyone has had his or her share of having garbage-breath. It's just that some have it worse than others, and no [bad breath solution] seems to save them from all the embarrassment. People think that the food we eat has something to do with bad breath. While it can be a factor it is not the type of food we eat but rather how much of the food particles are left in your mouth. This can attract bacteria, which is one reason our breath can get pretty bad at times. Even so it is not wise to starve yourself especially when you may be able to eat away the problem. Breakfast cannot only give you energy to last you through the day, but it also gets rid of that ugly smell from your mouth. You see, when we sleep, our mouths become inactive and bacteria activity goes into hyper-drive. This is why our breath smells disgusting in the morning. If you skip breakfast and leave your stomach empty it can cause bad breath or digestive halitosis. The actions of the digestive enzymes can cause this because they will still continue to work even if no food is present. This can cause your stomach lining to produce an odor. Digestive halitosis can start disappearing as soon as we start chewing on something. Water is a natural cure for bad breath. When we eat or drink coffee, tea or alcohol for example, residues attach themselves to the mucus in our mouths and breed odor-causing bacteria. Drinking water, especially during meals, flushes these out, leaving less room for bacteria to do their dirty job. A tangy and natural cure for bad breath involves loading up on citrus fruits. These foods stimulate the saliva, which is our body's natural mouthwash. Saliva keeps the mouth moist and acidic, making it difficult for bacteria to thrive. Plus, the refreshing taste of these fruits, like lemon and oranges, also leaves our mouth fresh. Chewing parsley and wintergreens that are rich in chlorophyll ? the substance that gives plants their green color and is ?nature's own deodorant? ? gets rid of bad breath for as long as 24 hours. These instant breath fresheners give out a fresh aromatic substance into the lungs, which we breathe out. However, eating too much fat, like dairy or deli meats, gives out a different kind of aroma, which if we breathe out smells a tad ugly. Instead of depending on commercial mouthwashes, find a bad breath solution from home remedies. To treat bad breath make a mouthwash out of herbs like eucalyptus, cardamom and fennel. These herbs work as antiseptics to rid the mouth of bacteria and help in digestion, leaving the breath smelling fresh every time. It does not matter whether you are trying to use different foods as home remedies to treat bad breath or you are trying something else. Good oral hygiene always will help as a bad breath solution. Keeping our mouths as clean as we can will always help. |
